About Us
Introduction
Petik Mérnöki Szolgáltató Kft. (the full legal successor of Petik és Társai Kft.) is one of the most frequently employed companies in Hungary dealing with soil mechanics and foundation engineering design. The company was founded by Árpád Petik and his associates in 1991. The three owners started the company with approximately 25 years of experience gained at state-owned enterprises.
At the time of foundation, in addition to the three engineers, a technician made up the team. The growing demands, the complexity of the work, and the need to increase productivity required continuous expansion. As a result, by 2006, 6 design engineers and 6 technicians staffed the office, and we had our own drilling team available for field work.
In addition to our own drilling team, we have a permanent partnership with several subcontractors to carry out further on-site and laboratory work. The initial 80 expert opinion and design job numbers per year had already exceeded 400 by this time.
We managed to survive the years of the crisis starting in 2008 through restructuring and expanding our client base. Since 2013, the number of orders has been continuously growing, and in parallel, the number of employees is also increasing. Since 2015, the company name is: Petik Mérnöki Szolgáltató Kft. In the last 8 years, the number of annual projects was between 350 and 400.
Our clients include architects, structural engineers, real estate developers, contractors, and investors from both the public and private sectors.
